My colleague Furkan Simsir wrote an article about the challenges we encountered while building an iOS app that makes math graphs audible to blind students. The app not only empowers hundreds of students in mathematics education, it proves that a purely auditory interface can be a rich and intuitive experience for a blind or partially sighted person.
